Unit 8 When is your birthday?
Teaching goals:
一、功能:Talk about the dates and activities.
二、 词汇和常用表达:
1. Learn these words and expressions, and be able to say, read and write them: dear, student,
thing, term, busy, time, there, next month
2. Learn these words and expressions, and be able to say and read them:
holiday, National Day, discuss, invite…to …
三、文化知识: Learn about some activities. Be able to discuss activities and write a note by
using the dates.

Step1 Preview
1. Let's review the cardinal numbers together. Count from first to thirty-first.
2. Play a number game: T: Your partner says a ordinal number and you say a cardinal number.
Then exchange roles.
