Teaching steps:
Step 1: Greet ss.
1. Match the words with the Chinese meaning.
2. Role play to have a review.
-- What’s your favorite subject? -- My favorite subject is…
-- Why do you like it? -- Because it’s fun / interesting /great / relaxing /
exciting.
-- When do you have it? -- I have it on….
2. Show the aims by the multi-media. Then ask ss to read aloud the aims of the guide
together.

1. Read aloud the Grammar Focus on the page of 51.
2. Check the answers of self-exploration with your group members.
