教学过程：
Step1 Presentation
Let the students think about the subjects they are learning,and ask them if they
know their English names.
Learn the new words: favorite,subject,science,P.E., music,Chinese,
geography,history,why,because
Ask about their favorite subjects and why they like them.
Step2:1a
1. Match the words with the pictures.The answers are: c,f,b,e,h,d,a,g
2. Read the words in 1a aloud.
Step3. Practice
Let the students practice the conversations in 1c,and then make their own
conversations.
Ask some pairs to act out their conversations.
Step 4: Listening(2a 2b)
Listen and put the conversation in order.The answers are:
What’s your favorite subject?
My favorite subject is P.E.
Why do you like P.E.?
Because it’s fun.
Listen again and match the subjects with the description.

Step5 Discussion
Let the students discuss the subjects in 2b .
Make conversations using the words in 2b.
