Step1: Presentation
1. T: Everyone wants to be healthy. Do you know how
to have a healthy diet? Here is some information for
you.
2. Explain the language points that in the questions
and answers to the students.
3. Say: Now design a diet for yourself and then write
your report.
4. Ask the students to do this activity individually.
Step2 :Reading
(1) Point to the article. Say: This is Millie’s
article about ‘Healthy Eating’.
Ask students to read the passage once for general
meaning.
(2) Ask them if they have any questions about the
passage.
(3) Play the recording and have students listen and
repeat.
(4) Explain the language points to the students.
Step3 :Writing
Say: Do you want to join the Get Fit Club? Then you
have to write an article about ‘Healthy Eating’.
After the students finish writing the notes, say: Now
write your own article. You can use Millie’s article
as a model.Give the students about five minutes to
complete their articles.
Homework
Write down their articles on the exercises book.
