Step 1 Create plots and scenes to guide the new lesson
Show the students some pictures of food (rice,
hamburgers, vegetables, chicken, fish, apples,
oranges and cakes) with the computer
Say: What can you see? Do you like them?
Step2 Learning and practice
(1) Show some pictures of food and help Ss learn the
English names of food.
Say:Look at the pictures. What food do you like? What
food do you dislike?
(1) Draw students’ attention on the words below the
pictures.
(2) Say: Now write the food you love, you like, you
dislike and you hate in the table.
(Point to the picture) Say, Millie and Daniel are
talking about the food they like and dislike.
(1) Call attention to the example conversation. Say
the conversation with a student.
Step 3 Comic strip
(1) Play the Comic strips for the ss to listen and tell
if the following sentences are true or false.
1. It’ s time for breakfast.
2. Eddie wants to have a hamburger.
3. Eddie often exercises.
4. Hobo is always hungry.
5. Eddie walks to his bowl many times a day.
Step4:
Homework
1.Remember the new words in this lesson.
2.Recite the dialogue in Comic strips.
3. Prepare for the next class.
