1. To master new words and phrases

3. To complete some exercises in the reading passage

教学过程 Step1,Revision
Some phrases;
Just a minute take a look
Have a look
Can I help you ? what can I do for you
?
The same…..as ….How much does it cost
(do they cost) ?
Step2.partB1 and B2.
1. ask students to do partB1.invidually,
then ask some able Ss to explain them in
English.
2. Ask them to write a new sentence using
one of the identified words in B1.
3,Divide the class into pairs to check
answers.
4. According to the context.
Write a “T” if the sentence is true .
write an”F” if it is false. Then check
the answers together.
Step2.part B3.
1.Make sure that students understand the
purpose of the activity. Relate this
exercise to the students’ own
experience.
2,Allow sufficient time for Ss to check
details in the conversations .on page 84.
3.Divide the class into pairs. This is
especially useful for less able students.
Ss have a revision and
write them down in their
exercise books.
Ss complete partB1 on
their own.
Ss read the words again
and again .then try to
understand them in the
sentences.
Ss complete it and
correct the wrong answer.
Ss talk about part B3 with
their partners.
Ss understand the purpose
of the activity.
Ss check details in the
conversation
4.Walk around the class and provide help
in terms of vocabulary but not the actual
problem itself.
5. Go through the answers with the whole
class .If there are different
interpretations.
Ask students to check the
conversations again.
Step 4 Ask 3 students to act out the
conversation, one for Amy, one for
shopkeeper 1 and the last one for
shopkeeper 2.
