The students will be able to:

2. talk about Halloween in English.
B)3. learn western festival cultures ,experience co-operation
Teaching Contents:
Words: (four skills):USA,paint, inside, knock, shout, if, treat, special
Phrases: tell about, in the USA, have lots of fun,dress up,wear masks,play a game
with,knock on,play a trick on,on the evening of October 31,like…best
Sentences: Thank you for telling me about the Mid-Autumn Festival.
If they do not give us a treat, we can play a trick on them.
I like Halloween best.

Step1. Revision:
We learnt some information about Halloween.Do you remember ?

2)How do they play the game ?
3)When do they have a party?
Step 2. Presentation
Teacher writes down the flow chart on the blackboard while students answer.

During talking about the questions with students,explain the useful phrases and
sentences .
Teacher creates situations so that students can know the useful phrases and sentences
better.For example : Children play a game with people. Do they have lots of fun? then
teach :
have lots of fun means have a good time ,play happily
Teacher shows some pictures or videos ,let students understand their meanings and
give some sentences ,then asks students to make more sentences with these situations.
Teach the following in this way
in the USA, dress up,wear masks,play a game with,knock on,play a trick on,
on the evening of October 31,like…best.
