【教学目标】
1.知识目标:
A 层 Let the students get to know present continuous tense.
B 层 Enable the Ss to know when to use it and how to use it.
2.能力目标:
A 层 To improve students’ abilityof describing the things that are happening now.
B 层 To master how we make the –ing form of a verb.
3.情感目标:
A 层 To develop students’ ability of expressing their own opinions in English.
【重点难点】
A 层 The understanding of the –ing form of a verb.
B 层 The students use their own words to express their own ideas.
【教学过程】
StepⅠLeading in
Listen to a song.
From this song, we can know the name of the song is “What are you doing?”
I’m watching TV.
I’m cooking.
I’m eating
I’m washing my hands.

1New words:
Look at the pictures and ask questions to show the new words:
write to
wait for
look for
lie
2Present continuous tense
Look at the pictures and answer questions.
From the sentences, we can know about that present continuous tense
And its positive form is: subject+ am/ is /are + v-ing ...
And its negative form is: subject+ am/ is /are not + v-ing ...
So work out the rule of v-ing.

Finish the exercise at page 97 .Then check the answer on the screen.Underline some important
